The codes with a * against them mean that we can actually develop a system for you, but we do not have the scanning equipment in house to read the code as we have never had a use for it as yet.

* = We can develop a system but we do not have the equipment to read the codes at present. If you wish to go ahead with a system using one of these codes then we will purchase a different scanner for testing purposes.

What equipment do use or recommend?
We only recommend that you use Datalogic equipment as thats what we tend to work with and around. It is seem to bethebest scanning hardware available. The imageon the right is a Datalogic Gryphon 2D FullArea Imaging Scanner. They can read all of the abovebarcodes. They are Sunrise 2005 Compliant, come with a 5 Year Warranty and can connect via USB, RS232 or Wedge emulation.

You can buy your scanners and scanner equipment via NameHog, we have listed a few prices below as a rough guideline, these prices dont really change so they will be as below approximately.We do not carry any stock as we do sell scanners every day, so if you let us know what your requirements are we can supply all your needs for you as quite competitive prices. We can supply printers as well as scanners. If you do not know quite what you are after, just let us know and we can advise you the best we can. The price list below is accurate as of January 2008.

How much does it cost?
We charge £40 + VAT per hour for script writing that includes Barcode Integration, we work flat out on whatever you want, we do not waste time and only charge you for the work thats gone in. So we dont charge you when we are out the office on lunch!! If you would like a price of a piece of work, just let us know, we need as much information as possible so that we can estimate the cost as well as possible.

How long does it take?
We work as quickly as possible, but it's like asking how long is a bit of string. We need to know what you want first. We can give fixed times and costs for certain things depending on what you want.
