Over the last 10 years we have gone from Cobalt RaQ3 32Mb Servers to the most powerful state of the art servers on the market. Our current servers are all the same, all servers are less than 1 year old, and get changed out for newer ones when they get to around 12 months. We do however, have a few old Colalt RaQ's knocking around the office with Centos installed used for testing purposes only. The server outlined below, we can typically load with 800 to 900 websites without it affecting the performance.

- 520W High-efficiency Power Supply (With redundant hot spre on sperate power feed)
- Dimensions: 43mm x 437mm x 503mm (H x W x D) weighing in at 14.1 Kg.
- 24/7 Permanent KVM Over IP Access & APC Remote Reboot Switch Ports
- Operating System: CentOs Enterprise Linux 5.0 with Apache 2 and CPanel 11
For each cluster of three web servers we have one database server, the same spec as above. These are grouped in blocks of 4 servers connected to a 24 Port Cisco 2960-24TT-L Catalyst Switch with a Dual 1000Mbit Gigabit Uplink to the main Cisco ASA 5510 Firewall that is capable of handling 130,000 concurrent sessions at once, yes thats a huge amount! It also takes upto a 300 Mbps throughput.
