NameHog DNS Settings:
If you would like to change the DNS on your domain name that you have with another domain provider to use web hosting services or email with NameHog, please use the settings below. Once you have changed it, please allow upto 24 hours for it to propogate.

Primary Name Server:        ns0.nhgdns.com      IP: 78.110.174.6
Secondary Name Server:   ns1.nhgdns.com      IP: 78.110.174.7
Tertiary Name Server:        ns2.nhgdns.com      IP: 78.110.174.8

Transfer a .uk Domain Name To Us:
If you would like to transfer a .uk domain name (.co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .ltd.uk) to us so that its under our control please change the tag to the setting below. You will need to contact your current provider to do this, we are not able to transfer a domain name for you. We do not charge you for transfering a UK domain name to us. Once youhave changed the Tag, please email accounts@namehog.net with all your contact details including your telephone number, your name, your email address and your full postal address so that we can either add it to your account or create a new account for you.

Transfer a US Domain Name To Us:
To transfer a US domain name to us (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .eu) you will need to contact your current domain provider and ask them to unlock the domain name ready for transfer, you will also need to get a domain name Transfer Authorisation Code from them. Once you have it unlocked and have the code, please email accounts@namehog.net with the code and state you wish to transfer it. The charge to transfer a US domain name is is £15.90 + VAT, this cost includes transfering it and a 1 year renewal.

Transfer a Domain Name Away:
To transfer a domain name away from us, you need to do two things, firstly you need to make sure you are the owner of the domain name as stated on the whois record, and secondly you need to make sure you have a new company to accept the domain name. To transfer away is free of charge.

UK Domain Names:
This applies to .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .ltd.uk. All you need to do is submit a helpdesk ticket from your billing system login requesting that the domain name has its IPS Tag changed to your new provider, you will need to provide the new tag name to us in that request. We do not charge to release the TAG.

US Domain Names:
This applies to .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz & .eu. All you need to do is submit a helpdesk ticket from your billing system login requesting that the domain name be unlocked and to provide you with an Authorisation Code for the new company. This is the only way to transfer a US domain name out from us.


Domain Name Disputes :
If youhave a dispute over a domain name, or the owner of a domain name we can put you in touch with the relevant people at the correct registry to ensure your dispute is dealt with correctly. Domain name disputes must and can only be settled between you, the third-party and the domain name authority such as Nominet or Melboure IT. NameHog will have no further involvement in the matter.
